Centre for Quantum Commercialisation Skills

EPSRC will fund one UK centre for quantum commercialisation skills to help researchers develop commercialisation, industry engagement, and innovation capabilities.

Only one application per research organisation is permitted, and the project lead may be named in no more than one application.

National leadership in quantum commercialisation skills, researcher training, industry and investor engagement, intellectual property and spinout readiness, challenge-led activities, and inclusive skills development.

The centre is intended to support and enable the wider UK quantum community rather than deliver a substantive subject-led research programme.

Award range is GBP 10 million to GBP 11.3 million. EPSRC will fund 100% of eligible non-FEC costs listed in the opportunity; estates and indirect costs are not funded. The centre must run for four years.
